Mr. Stockenberg
Mr. Stockenberg grew up in Seaside, Oregon. He graduated from Willamette University (1990) with a B.S. in Physical Education. He earned his Master’s Degree, in Health Education, from Western Oregon University (1998). Mr. Stockenberg has taught at Waldo, Judson, Whiteaker, and Stephens middle school. This year will be his 26th year as a teacher in our district. When he’s not working Mr. Stockenberg enjoys hiking, exercising, bird watching, and attending O.S.U. athletic events.

Ms. Bromley was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in geology. She went on to get her Master's of Arts in Teaching for Secondary Education. Ms. B taught at Outdoor School, the Oregon Zoo and OMSI before she came to Stephens. She loves PE but can also teach health and science! She really enjoys football, baseball and volleyball -- but the best part of her job is getting to know the students in the building.

Mr. Markle was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Salem in 2016. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology- Pedagogy (Physical Education) from California State University, San Bernardino. He started teaching in 2008 and went back to get his Masters degree in 2014. He graduated with a Masters of Arts in Athletic Administration and Coaching from Concordia University, Irvine. This year will be his 10th year teaching! He's coached multiple sports for the past 11 years. When he's not coaching, he loves hanging out with his family as much as possible. He married his wife in 2009 and they have two kids, Brandon and Peyton. He also enjoy sports, camping, fishing, running and playing with their new puppy. Oh, and similarly to Ms. Bromley - he, too, has an addiction to shopping at Nike.
